Literature Text

The bed sheets rustle as movement above them is restless with ankles
Of feet and toes dancing along the fabric of a bluish green
They are swimming in their own sea
Crashing into each time more deep than before

Like some sort of agony within a tragedy but more than a tall tale story
Of two lovers and two losers both running a race against time and God
Just kill the poison and ease the suffering
But in the end he will be the death of her

He speaks so softly against her ear or was the voice of the angels heard again
Her eyes will captivate like moon lit paths along the water lilies’ graves
Yet her flower is so >alive<
Inhale it so softly, do you know?

Fingertips now touch his hidden scars with no regard
Right and wrong neither found in this place because here
And now is all that matters; her in him and he in her
And then the lightning screams against the hearts still beating

Meeting you may have been the best break God gave to me
I was drowning far beneath the waves until your hand reached out and pulled me Into you with open arms, open heart, open mind, and open mouth
And I’ve fallen completely out of myself [for you]
I changed some things. <3 Hope you like it. Just a love poem.

What I like about this poem is the honesty. You write very candidly, and I like that. It's all straight from your heart, and you can tell.

I also think the first stanza is the best and brilliant - beautiful imagery.
